Long Case Clock

With Dial Escapement Display

Aimed at the modeller familiar with the Meccano system who is considering building his or her first clock, the plan is very detailed and clear, and apart from a length of braided nylon cord, the clock can be built entirely from standard parts.

Staightforward to construct, the six-foot high classical grandfather clock is easy to adjust and maintain, and has a French Brocot-style escapement fitted to the face of the dial, giving a view of the escapement’s action, which is normally hidden from view.
