Astronomical Clock

As well as telling the time, this clock has a 24-hour Dial indicating time around the world, shows the Day of the Week and Date of the Month, has a  Tidal Dial showing high and low water at a chosen port, and has a Lunar Dial showing the age of the moon and a Moon Globe displaying lunar phase.

Originally described in MP65, the model has since been much refined, and can now be switched between GMT and BST.  It requires a non-Meccano synchronous motor.

The new modelplan uses all-colour VirtualMec and IsoMec drawings throughout and includes text and colour photographs.
