In 1985 Bert Love was awarded the Alec Issigonis Shield for this fretsaw. He emphasised that it was not a model but a full-sized working tool.

The fretsaw has been faithfully reconstructed by Nick Rodgers, with slight simplifications to make it buildable with a Set 10 plus some additional parts.

Easy-to-follow building instructions are illustrated by colour photographs throughout.
