VETERAN 1910 LACRE VAN

by Jeffrey Boswell   -   £14.40

Veteran 1910 Lacre Van

Lacre is a name hardly ever heard these days, but before the Great War Lacre was a well known manufacturer of light vans. The name Lacre is a contraction of "Long Acre", the location of the firm's first factory near Covent Garden Market. By 1904 when the first Lacre commercial was built, the factory had already moved to Poland Street near Oxford Circus.

The Meccano model in this ModelPlan is based on illustrations in the book "Lorries, Trucks and Vans" by Percival Marshall and D.Bishop.

Nine pages of instructions cover the Chassis, Gearbox and Body, illustrated by no less than twenty eight photographs in colour.
