in 1981, the Newsletter is unique among present-day Meccano publications in
having a professional journalist (the redoubtable Chris Bourne) as editor.
It is published 2-3 times a year.
Previous editors were hardly less distinguished. The first editor, Nick Rodgers, went on to found the Runnymede Meccano Guild. The polymath and author Paul Joachim took over, to be succeeded by Dr Roger Poulet and finally the present editor.
Although always positioned as an ephemeral publication, it is a club newsletter of true magazine standard and archival quality, currently running to 36 pages. Back numbers have never been available, so complete sets are now quite rare and valuable.
