The bi-annual Magic of Meccano Show, now hosted by the West London Meccano Society, is a popular national event open to all clubs and enthusiasts and is an official meeting of the WLMS.

Meccano exhibits are intermingled with the museum's working steam engines and exhibits, providing a unique venue.

Ideal for families, the museum offers train rides and a cafeteria serving hot and cold refreshments.  The Thames towpath and Kew Gardens are within a short walking distance.

The museum has its own free car park with space guaranteed for exhibitors.
