The 3D CAD for MECCANO

The leading 3D CAD application for Meccano model building, VirtualMec is a standalone Windows application - no other drawing software is required.  For Windows 95 or later.

Building models with VirtualMEC is just like the real thing!  Start with a part, insert a bolt into a hole, add another part, add a nut to the bolt, and so on.  VirtualMEC contains the rendering and behavioural logic of over 600 parts.  Supplied complete with all parts from a 1970's Set No. 10 (excluding cords, rubber bands and chains) plus no fewer than 350 additional parts!

Any type of model can be designed with VirtualMEC (parts can be "bent"), plans can be shown in different renderings, printed, have different colour schemes applied to them and be shared with other users.  Once a plan is complete, the whole building process can be played back as a continuous "movie" or one part at a time - the easiest way to build the "real" version.  Watch each step and apply it to the real model!

VirtualMec - Full Versions

Purchasers of Entry or Standard version can UPGRADE to a higher version at any time.  The cost of the upgrade is the price difference plus £2.95.

A purchaser of Entry, Standard or Full version may install VirtualMec for his own use on more than one PC.

All full versions support saving files, printing and the use of Player Mode.
