Tony James' Hydraulic Platform Fire Engine
Designed, described, and illustrated by Tony James the model can be built from a standard No.10 outfit with very few additions. Based on the 1967 ERF Simon Snorkel hydraulic platform and built to approximately 1/10 scale. The cage will rise to a height of more than six feet, through a 150° arc, and rotate through 180°. Includes sixteen pages of Instructions, a further sixteen pages of diagrams, and covers featuring fifteen colour photographs of the complete vehicle and component assemblies. |
