Jim Gamble has already contributed the material for ModelPlans 87 "Dragline Excavator", and ModelPlans 112 "Electric Chiming Clock" from his file of archive material from Binns Road.

His third offering forms the basis for our ModelPlan. The original model was designed by J. Bouveau, who completed the instructions in March 1946.

The original instructions are in French, but as in the case of the same author's ModelPlans 112, they are accompanied by a full English translation.

The model is built to a scale of 1:2 and faithfully reproduces the mechanical functions of the original.

The complete model measures about 90 cm long, 36 cm wide (at the upper part of the cylinder heads) and 39 cm high. It weighs about 25 kilograms.
